IKEA Meatball Stroganoff with Hashbrowns
Grab a bag of frozen IKEA meatballs. Using meatballs in place of beef strips and serving with hashbrowns creates a twist on a classic. Quick and easy for weeknight dinner. A perfect ‘comfort food’ meal for a cold fall or winter evening.

  1. Add olive oil to skillet over medium-high heat and saute onions and garlic until tender and fragrant.
  2. Add mushrooms and cook until tender.
  3. Sprinkle flour over vegetables and mix well to coat vegetables with flour.
  4. Add broth, Worcestershire, paprika, and mustard. Heat until broth begins to boil.  
  5. Add frozen meatballs and turn down to a simmer.  Cover and cook until meatballs are heated through, approximately 10-minutes.
  6. Remove lid and simmer over low heat until sauce has thickened.
  7. Mix in sour cream just before serving.
  8. Serve IKEA stroganoff meatballs over hasbrowns with a fresh salad on the side.
